Traps
Combatants are not alone in their fight for survival; everything is out to kill them. Even the environment is a treacherous maze designed to eliminate the weak before they even have a chance to fight.
Traps in the game can inflict immediate physical damage, alter unit stats temporarily or permanently, and influence the game’s narrative by introducing new challenges or story twists.
When a trap is encountered, the player draws a card from the trap deck and applies its effects to the current situation. The trap deck can be customized based on the level sheet, allowing for varied and unique challenges in each game.

Traps on Tiles
Various traps are hidden within the map tiles, ready to spring unexpected dangers such as spikes, flames, or explosions. These traps can be cleverly concealed beneath innocuous objects such as stones or treasures, adding an element of surprise and caution to navigation.
Traps on Cards
Within the deck, certain treasure cards may secretly house trap cards. When revealed, these traps can inflict damage, impose temporary or permanent effects on the players, or trigger specific scenarios that unfold according to narratives detailed on dedicated pages.
Traps on Crates
Crates within the game environment, such as barrels or chests, can also contain traps. When these crates are opened or destroyed, they may explode, emit harmful gases, or activate various other effects, both temporary and permanent.
A crate can be opened by moving onto its tile, at which point the crate tile is flipped to reveal its contents. If it contains a trap, the player must draw a trap card from the trap deck to determine the specific effect.
